The Association of Religious in Uganda (ARU) elected a new Executive committee today, November 7th, 2024, during the General Assembly, which began on November 4th, at the ARU Secretariat.
Below are the elected members;

The newly elected President, Fr. Kamoga, has been the Vice-President of the outgoing Executive Committee. In his first speech as the President of ARU, Fr. Kamoga told the Major Superiors and Delegates of Major Superiors present at the Assembly, that he said YES because he has been part of the committee and knows how difficult it is to get members to serve.
The outgoing President, Rev. Sr. Maria Speranza Namusisi, IHMR, thanked the outgoing committee for their service in the past three years and thanked the newly elected committee for agreeing to take on this challenging role. With that, Sr. Speranza officially closed the Assembly.
