Uganda Spiritual Formation Centre Namugongo (USFCN), on 25th October 2024 commissioned Priests, Religious Sisters and Brothers who completed the 9 months Formation Course and a Renewal Program.
USFCN runs two programs concurrently; Formation and Renewal also known as Sabbatical program. This year, the participants all together were 16; Nine for the Renewal and seven, Formation Program. It was an international group representing six different countries; Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Cameroon, South Sudan and India.
The main Celebrant Fr. Kamoga John Bosco, C.C.SP, who is the Vice President of the Association of Religious in Uganda (ARU), in an inspiring homily, called upon the participants to let the fruits of the 9 months program reflect in their life, communities and ministry. Fr. Kamoga was also the guest of honor.
All the participants received certificates during the commissioning ceremony that took place after the celebration of Mass. The Formators, in addition received a Formation Programme Booklet, to help and guide them in their Formation Ministry.
Also present was the Secretary General of ARU, Sr. Lydia Apili Bwor, LSMIG. She extended her gratitude to the USFCN Director Sr. Daisy Nakanwagi DST, all the staff, and urged the participants to put into practice what they learnt

Sr. Daisy encouraged all the Major superiors to send more participants for both programs. The next program will start on January 31 2025. Registration is in progress. To register, please contact;
